What Students Say About ACE

Hi, I’m Danush, a student at The Lawrenceville School. What sets ACE apart, is its commitment to depth over breadth. At ACE, it’s not just about covering material—it’s about truly understanding it. You get the time and space to engage with ideas, rather than stressing over grades. The English and humanities faculty are outstanding: they build your skills through in-class writing and provide exceptional, actionable feedback. If you’re aiming for a school like TJHSST or other elite boarding schools, ACE is a smart choice. Most applications—even TJ—weigh English and writing heavily. When you develop ACE-level writing, your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly can stand out more than a correct answer.
Personally, ACE has given me one of the strongest foundations for admissions—both for high school and, eventually, college. I will be forever grateful for their coaching, and the future they have given me.

ACE has shaped me into the person I am today. It has and will continue to prepare me for life and the many years to come. Whenever I think of ACE, I think of love, care, happiness, and joy. ACE has taught me leadership, confidence, and many other life skills. It is truly a gift to be able to attend this school. The staff and everyone of the students here make me feel like I am part of the ACE family. - Sophia

What Parents Say About ACE
Without a doubt, ACE has had a profound academic impact on our son from the very beginning in Kindergarten through 7th grade. The strong foundation he received at ACE not only nurtured his curiosity and discipline but also helped shape his confidence as a speaker and writer. His oratory and creative writing skills were especially cultivated during his time at ACE, enabling him to excel in numerous debate competitions and ultimately contributing to his acceptance into both Thomas Jefferson and Lawrenceville High School. We are truly grateful for the role ACE has played in guiding his growth and success. — Madhu Vattipulusu
Over the past year at ACE, my daughter has demonstrated remarkable academic growth. She entered junior kindergarten midway through the year at age four and was reading within a few months. The leadership, faculty, and staff at ACE are outstanding, and the school has exceeded every expectation we had. We love ACE! - Barbara Agrait
My experience as a parent at ACE has been exceptional over the past four years. My boys have had the privilege of being taught by the most caring and dedicated teachers, who have loved and supported them like their own. Not only have they grown academically, but also in character and emotional maturity.
I have always felt supported by both the teachers and staff. They have consistently listened to my concerns and worked collaboratively with me to meet my children's needs. The level of individualized care and attention each student receives at ACE is unmatched. I love that every day I drop my kids off to school, I know they are entering into a loving, safe, and caring environment.
We are forever grateful for the positive impact ACE has had on our family. — Cynthia Findlater
When we were looking for a private school for our daughter, we first came across the Academy of Christian Education through its incredible online reviews in November 2024 and initially reached out for a tour. At that time, communication got lost from our end. Then in January 2025, while casually checking in with my daughter’s best friend’s mother during winter break, she mentioned that her own daughter had enrolled at ACE and spoke very highly of the school, the tour experience, and the positive impact it was having on her child. Around the same time, we had explored a few other private school options nearby as well, trying to find the right fit for our daughter and our family. Since ACE was about thirty minutes away and we only had one car, the commute felt like a challenge, but something kept pulling us back, so we decided to schedule the tour again. Our experience was amazing. We instantly knew this was the right place and enrolled our daughter in January 2025, right in the middle of her Junior Kindergarten year. We gave a respectful courtesy notice to her previous daycare, which we had also loved, because we knew it was time for her to step forward into a stronger academic environment. ACE welcomed our daughter and our family with open arms, without judgment, despite our cultural backgrounds being different. What connected us deeply was that our values were the same - teaching children integrity, honesty, truth, discipline, and kindness - which feel increasingly rare in today’s world. In a world where hate often feels louder than compassion, this school gave our daughter support, belonging, and meaningful guidance. Since we joined in the middle of the school year, the transition from a daycare setting to a structured school environment with accelerated learning was a major shift for both our daughter and for us as parents. I will honestly admit that in the beginning, I had doubts about whether we were the right fit for each other. I believe many parents, especially immigrant parents, feel that uncertainty. But the principal, Mrs. Rogers, along with the entire Junior Kindergarten team and administration, made sure our daughter transitioned as smoothly as possible. Her teacher went above and beyond, spending extra time with her alongside the assistant teacher to help her adjust and thrive. One of our biggest challenges was phonics. Having grown up in India, even in private English-medium schools, phonics was never something we were taught or exposed to in the same way. Beyond learning the alphabet, I honestly do not remember much focus on sounds and pronunciation. This is not criticism of my home country, just a reflection of a different educational system. We realized we had been teaching our daughter incorrect pronunciations because of our own mother tongue influence, and that pronunciation and sounds truly mattered. The team at ACE was incredibly patient with us through that learning process. They guided us without judgment and helped us understand what our daughter truly needed. Whenever I expressed a concern or if something was missed, it was never met with defensiveness. Instead, it was met with kindness, hard work, and the understanding that we are all human, mistakes happen, and growth happens best when we work together as a team. What I love most is that both parents and teachers are willing to collaborate with honesty and respect. There were oversights on both sides throughout the journey, but they were acknowledged, corrected, and improved upon rather than ignored. That mutual respect, accountability, and shared responsibility built lasting trust. What matters most is the willingness to recognize a gap and genuinely work to close it - and that is rare. This is a school where our daughter is truly known and called by her name. Everyone works like a family. They are also incredibly flexible and understanding with practical things like payment options for their well-known summer camps - offering weekly, monthly, or lump-sum options, which makes a real difference for families. Our daughter loves ACE. She takes immense pride in her teachers, her friends, and the healthy, nurturing environment around her. We have seen her grow not only academically, but also emotionally. Her confidence, communication, independence, and willingness to learn have improved tremendously in just a few months. She feels proud of herself, and as parents, there is no greater joy than watching your child feel secure, capable, and excited to learn. As parents, the greatest peace is knowing your child is safe, respected, and genuinely cared for even when you are not there. ACE has given us that peace. From the recent 30th anniversary gala night to bingo nights, summer camps, field trips, hands-on experiments, and the life lessons taught through books and daily learning, the school creates an environment where children feel both challenged and deeply cared for. As immigrant parents from a different culture and religion, we have never once felt like outsiders. Our daughter is celebrated just like every other child there. Some parents even work within the school, yet we have never seen fairness, integrity, or Christian values compromised. Humanity is the true foundation of ACE, and if you want your child to grow not only into a high achiever but also into a good human being with strong values, this is truly a special place. They genuinely care about the noble service they are providing, and that connects us all on the simple but powerful ground of humanity. Looking back, enrolling our daughter at ACE was one of the best decisions we made for her future. My only small feedback would be that I wish they also offered spring and winter camps, because families like ours would absolutely love that opportunity as well. - Bhatia Family
